One situation in Of Mice and Men is whenever Lennie is listening to Crooks and what he has to say. Crooks doesn't have to worry about him repeating it because he's very forgetful. He confided in Lennie.
I was able to confide in my father when he was alive. He did betray me and told people stuff i said, which got him in lots of truble, but that was after years and years of me telling him things. I love when people tell me things because they know they can trust me and i feel helpful whenever i know ow to make them feel better because i know what they have been through.
